Hear what your players hear
When reviewing PC playtests, understanding the player’s hardware can make a big difference.
We now automatically collect and display player PC specs for Windows playtests, including details like CPU, GPU, RAM and screen resolution.
You can find this information directly on the video page and the playtest results page.
More context for your research
This update adds useful context when interpreting player feedback. For example, if a player reports lag or performance issues, you can quickly see whether their hardware might influence the experience.
Hardware details can also provide helpful signals about the player’s setup and gaming habits. A high-end GPU and large RAM setup might suggest an enthusiast PC gamer, while lower specs might reflect a more casual setup.
The goal is simple: give you more context behind each playtest session, so it’s easier to interpret what players experience during gameplay.
This update is available for playtests where hardware data can be collected. If a device does not allow certain information to be captured, we will display the available specs.
